Where quality care is evident, the Kidney Service is a Perpetual Succour Center of Excellence.
It pioneered the 1st kidney transplant in Cebu City, and provides expert professional care for patients with acute renal failure and patients with end stage renal disease requiring hemodialysis treatment.
Since its birth in May 13, 1984, the Kidney Service has grown not only in size and number of patients but also in services. The unit can be found at the ground floor of the main hospital building.

The unit adopts a more attentive approach to care with a one nurse, to two patients ratio. Chronic hemodialysis patients belonging to the Kidney Service roster of patients have priority to emergency dialysis. Patients attached to other dialysis units may also avail of emergency dialysis depending on staff availability and will be subject to extra charges/professional fees.
The unit also has dedicated machines for Hepatitis B - and Hepatitis B+ patients.
