TRAFFIC ADVISORY PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT

Peace be with you! Please be informed that starting Sunday, September 24, 2017, the hospital will be implementing new traffic and parking rules which are as follows: 1. All delivery trucks will not be allowed to enter through Gorordo Avenue entrance. All trucks must enter through F. Sotto entrance. 2. Vehicles entering Gorordo Avenue entrance will have access only to the Emergency Room, Information Building and the Cebu Heart Institute. 3. Vehicles entering Gorordo Avenue entrance will have no access to the doctors’ clinics, parking building and F. Sotto exit. 4. F. Sotto Drive hospital entrance, which is located just before the USC-Montessori will be the main entrance of the hospital. Vehicles entering through this entrance will have access to the doctors’ clinics, parking building and other hospital areas. 5. All roads inside the hospital will be no parking zones for all types of vehicles and motorcycles. 6. All patients and visitors can park their vehicles and motorcycles at the St. Joseph Parking Building. 7. Perpetual Succour Hospital is a private property. Traffic and parking violators will be penalized. 8. Please take the necessary time to read the traffic details on the information boards posted in strategic areas around the hospital premises. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs) A. FOR PATIENTS/ HOSPITAL VISITORS

1. Which is the recommended hospital entrance for me if I am going to see my doctor?

Answer: It is recommended that you take the F. Sotto Drive Entrance because majority of the private doctors and specialty clinics are located in the SPC Medical Specialty Center and the Mother of Perpetual Succour Specialty Center (Buildings A and B in the Hospital Map). All other areas of the hospital are also accessible through the F. Sotto Drive Entrance. See Hospital Map and follow roads #1 to #2.

2. Which is the recommended hospital entrance for me if I am going to the Emergency Room?

Answer: (a) You can enter the hospital through the Gorordo Avenue Entrance and be at the Emergency Room in no time. (Building D in the Hospital Map). See Hospital Map and follow road # 8.

3. I am going to the Emergency room and the F. Sotto Drive Hospital Entrance is more accessible to me. How do I make my way there?

Answer: The Emergency room is Building D in the Hospital Map. See Hospital Map and follow roads #1 to #2 to #6 to #7 to # 8.

4. From the Emergency Room, where can I park my vehicle?

Answer: From the ER, you have no road access to the St. Joseph Parking Building. You must exit the hospital through Gorordo Avenue and enter the main hospital entrance at F. Sotto Drive. See Hospital Map and follow roads # 8 to #9 to #7 to Gorordo Avenue. Take a right turn on F. Sotto Drive. Enter the Main Hospital Entrance (before USC Montessori) then follow roads #1 to #2 to #3 to #4. This will lead you to the St. Joseph Parking Building (Building F in the Hospital Map).

5. I am visiting my doctor (or the Emergency Room/ other specialty areas of the hospital) but I prefer to park my vehicle first because I don’t have a driver. Where is the parking area for patients/ visitors?

Answer: You can enter through the F. Sotto Drive Entrance and park your vehicle at the St. Joseph Parking Building (Building F in the Hospital Map). Thereafter, you can make your way to your doctor’s clinic, Emergency Room and other specialty centers of the hospital. See Hospital Map and follow roads #1 to #2 to #3 to #4.

6. From the St. Joseph Parking Building, how do I make my way to F. Sotto Drive? to Gorordo Avenue?

Answer: (a) To F. Sotto Drive: See Hospital Map and follow roads #4 to #5 to #2 to #1. This will lead you to F. Sotto Drive.

(b) To Gorordo Avenue: See Hospital Map and follow roads #4 to #5 to #6 to #7. This will lead you to Gorordo Avenue.

7. From the St. Joseph Parking Building, How do I make my way to the Emergency Room to pick up my patient then leave thru Gorordo Avenue? Can I leave the hospital thru F. Sotto Drive?

Answer: (a) See Hospital Map and follow roads #4 to #5 to #6 to #7 to #8 to #9 to #7. This will lead you to Gorordo Avenue. This route will also allow you to pick up patients from the Cebu Heart Institute and Information Building (Building C and E in the Hospital Map). (b) From the Emergency Room, Information Building and Cebu Heart Institute, you have no access to F. Sotto Drive. Your only exit from the hospital is through Gorordo Avenue.

8. Where is the Taxi Stand located?

Answer: (a) The Taxi Stand is located in the vacant lot (H in the Hospital Map) across the SPC Medical Specialty Center (Building B in the Hospital Map). The taxi stand is within walking distance from any of the hospital buildings. (b) If you are a person with disability/ senior citizen or have difficulty walking, you may ask one of our security guards for assistance. They will inform one of the security guards at the taxi stand to have an available taxi go to a loading bay area closest to you. Our loading bay areas are at the Cebu Heart Institute, SPC Medical Specialty Center and the Mother of Perpetual Succour Specialty Center driveways only. All other roads in the hospital are no loading and unloading areas.

9. I am taking a PUJ going to the hospital, will I be affected with the new traffic rules inside the hospital?

Answer: No, you will not be affected. The new traffic rules apply only to vehicles. You can still enter and leave the hospital by foot from any of the two entrances, either at Gorordo Avenue or F. Sotto Drive.

10. I am using a motorcycle going to the hospital, will I be affected with the new traffic and parking rules inside the hospital?

Answer: Yes, motorcycles are included in the new traffic and parking rules inside the hospital.

11. I cannot make a left turn to F. Sotto Drive if I am coming from Gorordo Avenue (Asilo de la milagrosa side), do you have any suggested route so I can enter the hospital thru F. Sotto Drive?

Answer: (a) After the traffic light, you can look for an allowed U-turn area along Gorordo Avenue and make your way back in the opposite direction and then turn right on F. Sotto Drive. The entrance to the hospital is just before USC-Montessori. (b) A few hundred meters after the traffic light, turn right on Pedro Calomarde Street (bedside Kia Motors). Turn right at the first corner on Acacia street. Turn right again on Archbishop Reyes Avenue and make your way to F. Sotto Drive. The entrance to the hospital is just before USC-Montessori.

B. FOR DOCTORS

1. Where are the designated parking areas for doctors?

Answer: The designated parking areas for doctors are the basement parking at the SPC Medical Specialty Center, Mother of Perpetual Succour Specialty Center, and the ER/ OPD building. (Buildings A, B and D in the Hospital Map).

2. Can doctors also park at the St. Joseph Parking Building?

Answer: Yes, doctors can park at the St. Joseph Parking Building (Building F in the Hospital Map). Since the parking building is a pay parking area, fees may apply.

3. Which hospital entrance should I enter if I prefer to park at the SPC Medical Specialty Center?

Answer: It is recommended that you enter through the F. Sotto Drive Entrance. The entrance to the basement parking is between the SPC Medical Specialty Center and the Mother of Perpetual Succour Specialty Center. See Hospital Map and follow roads #1 to #2.

4. Which hospital entrance should I enter if I prefer to park at the ER/ OPD Building?

Answer: It is recommended that you enter through the Gorordo Avenue Entrance. The entrance to the basement parking is across the Cebu Heart Institute (Building C in the Hospital Map). See Hospital Map and follow roads #8 to #9 to #7.

5. If I entered the hospital through the Gorordo Avenue entrance, can I make my way to the SPC Medical Specialty Center?

Answer: No, you have no road access to the SPC Medical Specialty Center. You must exit the hospital through Gorordo Avenue and enter the main hospital entrance at F. Sotto Drive. See Hospital Map and follow roads # 8 to #9 to #7 to Gorordo Avenue. Take a right turn on F. Sotto Drive. Enter the Main Hospital Entrance (before USC Montessori) then follow roads #1 to #2. This will lead you to the SPC Medical Specialty Center (Building B in the Hospital Map).

6. If I am parked at the basement parking of SPC Medical Specialty Center, how do I make my way to F. Sotto Drive? to Gorordo Avenue?

Answer: (a) To F. Sotto Drive: See Hospital Map. From the basement parking exit, turn right and follow roads #2 to #3. Enter the empty lot (H in the Hospital Map) through the U- turn slot then be on road #5. After exiting the empty lot, turn right on road #2 then to road #1. This will lead you to F. Sotto Drive. (b) To Gorordo Avenue: See Hospital Map. From the basement parking exit, turn right and follow roads #2 to #6 to #7. This will lead you to Gorordo Avenue.

7. If I am parked at the basement parking of ER/ OPD Building, how do I make my way to F. Sotto Drive? to Gorordo Avenue?

Answer: (a) To F. Sotto Drive: See Hospital Map. From the basement parking exit, turn right to road #4. Enter the empty lot (H in the Hospital Map) then be on road #5. After exiting the empty lot, turn right on road #2 then to road #1. This will lead you to F. Sotto Drive. (b) To Gorordo Avenue: From the basement parking exit, turn right to road #4. Enter the empty lot (H in the Hospital Map) then be on road #5. After exiting the empty lot, turn left on road #2 then to road #6 to #7. This will lead you to Gorordo Avenue.
